Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests
  • Go above and beyond the call of duty for our guests; and be friendly at all times
  • Prepare Starbucks beverages and other beverage items, including alcohol, and serve to our guests
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, slicing, packaging, labeling and storing food
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and health code
  • Operate a variety of kitchen equipment
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support the team to reach common goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and other associates
  • Complete opening and closing duties and checklists including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking equipment, etc.
  • Set up, stock and maintain cleanliness of work areas
  • Operation of the cashier: Take orders from customers, input into the Point of Sale (MICROS), obtain payment and provide change
  • Operatethe Verissimo Espresso Machine to make the Starbucks drinks
  • Retrieve and serve food between outlets and kitchens.
  • Clean tables, throw away trash, wash dishes, sanitize all areas
  • Serve tables on the dining room floor
  • Manage a self-bank or cash register
  • Continually check expiration dates on all products and utilize FIFO product rotation
  • Understand food costs, portion control and waste elimination
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory as directed by management
  • Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance
  • Complete all assigned checklists and side work; turn in to manager for approval prior to completion of your shift
  • Perform any other reasonable job duties requested

 

Qualifications

  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance.
  • Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
  • This position requires full mobility and continuous movement.
  • Stand and walk for an extended period of time.
  • Effectice verbal English communication is needed.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
  • Work nights, weekends and flexible schedule based upon business demands.
